Posted 3/21/2009When i was a kid, animation always amazes me. though im ending my teenage years now, it never stopped me from being a fan. at this era, animation status all over the world emerged. (well thanks to our japones friends). its a stress relieving entertainment. well before great graphic artists' heads explode, i really want to give the credits to Eiichiro Oda. the one who made ONE PIECE animation. it started when Oda dream of having his own manga when he was in his teenage days. and it came true when he decided to work under the DRAGON BALL Z management.
At that time, Oda motivated himself in doing his own creation, which is the ONE PIECE. ONE PIECE is about a man named MONKEY D. Luffy who wants to be a PIRATE KING someday. in order to fulfill that dream, one must find the great treasure (which is ONE PIECE) who belonged to the ex-pirate king GOL D. Roger. Now, he set sail to find that treasure, great adventure and true friendship. later on, on the series, LUFFY met his NAKAMAS (CREW). They had this mini-ship that they named it. GOING MERRY. (it was wrecked, i think at the 4th season-ENIES LOBBY saga). And the "new.shiny. off the hook" ship is now named A THOUSAND SUNNY. Way better than MERRY. Ok then, lets talk about the nakamas of our CAPTAIN LUFFY. Luffy's first mate is RORONOA ZORO - an ex-pirate hunter. 
Luffy saved him from the marines and zoro promised to protect him no matter what happen. Then there is NAMI, Luffy's navigator. Luffy also saved her from debt. Nami's ability before was stealing and she loves money. Also she has great skills about the weather. Next is USOPP a long nosed guy who always makes story just to impress everyone, but he is a great sniper and also fixes everything in MERRY. Then there was SANJI - a.k.a. BLACK LEG. He will serve as the cook of the crew. He loves women though he says he is a gentleman. He and Zoro always pisses their asses off. Luffy searched for a doctor in his crew and he found one, Tony Tony Chopper, a reindeer who ate a devil fruit that turn him to be a human, but not exactly. So they set sail and along their journey, they met a damsel in distress named Vivi. The princess of Arabasta desert. 
Their town was conquered by a Shichibukai (a powerful war lord that cannot be stopped by anyone including the marines). Luffy and rest of the crew helped Vivi and Vivi was officially member of the Straw Hats thus, after the war, she returned to her kingdom and cant go with the crew anymore. After the Arabasta case, Luffy's bounty increased along with his crew too. One of the enemy did survive. Her name is Nico Robin, the adviser and assistant of Crocodile (the conqueror of the Arabasta desert and founder of Barrock Works). She sneaked at the Straw Hats mini-ship. She gained trusts to the other crew except Zoro's. She is an archaeologist who seeks the world's long lost true history. Then there was Franky, a leader of a bunch of guys in Water 7. He is a great shipwright. Luffy recruited him when Franky had his own wanted poster after the Enies Lobby case. (Luffy defeated the CP9 marine members and he declared war against the world government, for the sake of Robin's life). The new ship was born then, Thousand Sunny, because the Going Merry can no longer set sail. The last recruit is Brook, a human who turned out to be a live skeleton, he ate a devil fruit that can bring back your life only once. After he died, his soul was lost in finding his dead body and it was too late. He's is a musician as well as a swordsman. I think he's 80+ yrs. old now. He's a former pirate too. He's crew mates died when they were having a journey in Grand line. He left alone in the bewilderment. He's seeking his lost crew mate and believing he is still alive. Its name was Laboon, a whale. He wanted to see him once again and say sorry if the rest of the crew didnt make it. So kinda interested? start watching it now! i assure you, its like a pringles canester. once you pop it, you will never stop wanting it! jah!
